PETG : 500mic – 3mm Clear finish. This material is commonly used in Point of Sale as it can be easily Laser Cut. PETG has a glass like finish and can be printed on directly without treatment. Supplied with protective film on both sides. Being fully recyclable, a feature that is becoming more commonly looked for in plastics, it is a perfect material for many projects.
Laser Cutting :- PETG has a polished edge when Laser cut. We leave the film on both sides as this not only helps to reduce the chance of scratches but also stops the surface from scorch marks.
Raster Engraving :- This is not something that PETG is fully suitable for. A very light surface marking can be obtained with the possibility of a slight whiting and warping of the material.
Vector Engrave / Cutting :- With this process we leave the film in place, helping to prevent heat marking on the surface. Thinner grades are less suitable for marking.
