High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) :- 500mic – 4mm in Various Colours. HIPS is a versatile material which is economic and has excellent impact resistance. It is suitable for items that require durability in function. It is available with a High Gloss or Matt finish. This is available in a wide range of colours and thicknesses. It is supplied with a protective film to the front face.
Laser Cutting :- HIPS Laser cuts leaving a polished clean edge. We Laser Cut with the film on as it helps to prevent scratches and heat marks.
Raster Engraving :- This is not something that Styrene is fully suitable for. A very light surface marking can be obtained with the possibility of a slight whiting and warping of the material.
Vector Engrave / Cutting :- With this process we leave the film in place, helping to prevent heat marking on the surface. Thinner grades are less suitable for marking.
