ABS : 1mm – 6mm Black, White, Grey and Red in Smooth or Pinseal. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) has a high resistance to temperature and chemicals, featuring a higher impact property and durability than HIPS though sharing similar qualities. It is available in a range of colours and finishes.
Laser Cutting :- ABS is not supplied with a protective film. A paper tape or film can be applied pre Laser work to help protect from heat marking. Due to there being no film, there maybe some scratches present.
Raster Engraving :- ABS is not he most suitable to be Laser Engraved, but it is possible. A small amount of contrast will appear as the engraved surface becomes more Glossy.
Vector Engrave / Cut :- As with Laser Cutting, due to ABS being supplied with no film, as small amount of heat marks maybe visible unless paper tape or film is applied prior to processing.
